TUDIAA!! UTUSAN FITNAH HARAKAH??!

Pas kata air kat Kelantan tak cukup teruk.

Kalau macam tu punya warna pun depa kata tak teruk, Mc pun taktau nak kata apa la.

Thailand's Metropolitan Water Authority (MWA) has requested assistance with ensuring the quality of their water supply in Bangkok and areas affected by the recent floods.

PUB has delivered 50 units of online pH- and turbidity-sensors to the MWA to enhance the monitoring of water quality in the treatment process in Bangkok.

In addition, the MWA has accepted PUB's offer to provide training to MWA staff on risk assessment and water safety plan formulation; as well as to provide laboratory services for testing of water samples from MWA.

A four-member team from PUB visited Bangkok from November 10 to 12 to carry out an assessment of the assistance needed.

PUB's Chief Executive, Chew Men Leong, is currently in Bangkok to meet with the MWA Governor, Charoen Passara, and oversee the implementation of the assistance initiatives.

The Singapore Government had earlier donated relief supplies worth US$115,000, including tents, generators, blankets, lamps and water containers.

The Singapore Armed Forces also donated 45 motorised boats, sandbags, bed sheets and blankets to the Royal Thai Army to help with the flood relief efforts.

This was in addition to the Singapore Government's initial contribution of US$100,000 as seed money to kick-start the Singapore Red Cross appeal for donations for floods affecting countries in the region including Thailand and Cambodia.

The Singapore Red Cross presented a contribution of S$100,000 to the Thai Red Cross in Bangkok in October, and has donated 38 boats and 17,000 bottles of water.
